I'm interested in Outer Realm, what does it smell like?

Here's a note from our perfumers Michael Nordstrand and Joey Rosin:

The hero note of Outer Realm is Incense; you can smell it from the opening clearly through all stages of the fragrance’s evolution. We chose to highlight Incense extracts because of the vast array of choices in the perfumer’s palette but also because of its ancient connection to spirituality and worlds beyond our own. Its inherently kinetic olfactory profile also felt really tactile, and you can sense that when you wear it.

The effervescence of Citron & Bergamot gives a brightness and clarity to the opening, alongside Juniper Leaves & Mountain Pepper, which lend a greener shading to the top and heart note. These materials also
share important characteristics with Incense, so they were natural choices.

A big duality in the fragrance comes from a jewel-like heart note we hid within the Incense: a watery, spicy Lotus Flower dressed in leathery Saffron lingers just beneath the surface, warmed by notes of rich Amber and fiery Cedarwood Embers that comprise the base note.

Do you offer samples?

We do not currently offer free samples of our products online. However, we do offer a 1.5ML in every 50ML purchase, so you have the opportunity to try the scent before unsealing the 50ML box. 1.5ML samples are available for purchase, but please note that we do not accept returns on 1.5MLs.

Are your perfumes clean?

Rite of Way scents are vegan, paraben free, and phthalate free.

Where can you ship?

We currently only ship to the United States - excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Please allow 3-4 business days to process your order, unless otherwise noted. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed during business hours. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after placing your order.

We offer shipping through UPS Ground, which typically takes 4-9 business days.

Please note that they are subject to change, especially during high-volume time frames. For the most up-to-date delivery information, please track your shipment using the tracking number that is included in your shipping confirmation.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes. Before returning any item, please contact Customer Support at x@riteofway.co for return approval. Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the item and must include proof of purchase. Once your return request has been approved, you will have a further 14 days to return your item. 

Fragrance: To be eligible for a return, your main bottle box must be unopened with the seal unbroken. 

Non-Fragrance Products: To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in new condition with original tags attached and must be unworn and unwashed. 

You will be responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, the new shipping costs for the exchanged item will be deducted from the refund amount.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please contact UPS to inform them of your missing package.
